Canned Tuner / Tranny Perf. For 2000 5.3l?

Are there any solid, reputable, dyno proven canned tuners out there for the GM's like Superchips / SCT is to Ford? It's a K1500 LT auto tranny, and I would primarily like to firm up the tranny shift points...on 87 oct. if possible, but I wouldn't be opposed to running mid-grade or even premium fuel if the power is there. If they are out there, what is it and is this a good site to watch for a used one? Thanks!!!

you mean like superchips

or hypertech...or Diablo, (actually the best one)...theres edge, and a few more

Best overall and cheapest option is a custom mail order tune from a dealer like BlackBear the owners are actually active members here, and quite a few people here have tuned PCM's by them...

Thanks man, I've gone the Superchips and SCT route with my F150, then finally dyno tuning after I got too radical to guesstimate the A/F. I'll keep my eyes peeled for a used tuner that has multiple tunes on it. What range do I need to look for? ...like 1999-2002, etc.

1999-2004

Go with a tune man...200ish bones...and no hand-held will ever compare for that price..used or not.

If you send back your core it will only cost you the price of the tune.
