Hey guys been doing a ton of searching here for my prob. The problem was the drivers side carpet and pad were getting wet when it rained. Not from water dripping onto the carpet but from underneath. Well after taking the interior panels and backseat out. I have found the leak and wanted to share in case anyone else has the same problem. This is my first post so go easy on me. The leak was coming from the seam on the roof above the drivers door over the side window on the ext cab see pic. There was some factory seam sealer that cracked open and made a small hole to allow the water in. I used clear silicone to fill the hole.

Checked my truck this morning. Major seam sealer contraction lines(aka cracks) but everything is nice and dry (and man its been raining a lot lately). I guess it is going to requite some attention in this area.

I don't know if I have that issue as well, but I'll have to check. I lifted up the carpet this past weekend, and there's a plastic "tray" that goes up the firewall, and there's a foam like material under that, and it's soaked. Not sure where the water is coming in, but I'll check behind my driver's door. Although I did notice that the clips that hold the door sill trim in place are more rusty towards the rear of the door.

Thanks for the info!
