Automatic Mirrors In Reverse?

I do not have a owners manual for my 07 Sierra Denali. How do I stopp the mirrors from tilting down when I put the truck in reverse? I thought I figured it out but then when I shut it off and restarted it it went back to doing it.

Yep...DIC. I finally turned those off on my wife's Yukon. I might turn the right side back on as my wife keeps hitting the curb when parking!

 

 

Did you buy your Denali from a dealer used or new? I thought they Had to have a manual with the vehicle when selling off the lot.

Yeah, I had to shut mine off for the winter. Ice was building up around the mirror and the motor wouldn't move it so to prevent damage I disabled it. It's the second button from the top on your DIC controls IIRC. Not the button you use to change from trip to odometer, inst fuel economy etc. Look for "park assist mirrors" or "curb-view assist" or something like that and you should be able to cycle through the options to choose disabled.
