Cranking Up The Torsion Bars?

I hae an 01 GMC 2500hd 2 wheel drive.

I has 4 new tires on it but the front site lower than the rear.

This is a 2wd, can I crank the front end up some?

torsion bar's in a 4x4 ,coils in a 2wd ,you might look at ready lift or other brand's for a leveling kit .not sure on the 2500 on know on my sister's 2001 Tahoe 1500 it has torsion bar's if yours has bar's they make leveling kit key's you can also crank up torsion bar's a little bit to level it,usually about as much as 1 3/4 inches but you have to have the front end aligned again .

my 2wd 2500hd doesnt have coils, has the torsion bars.

Just wondering if the 2wd are the same as 4wd as far as cranking them up a little bit

If you must crank them, make a reference mark on the bolt & frame (so you know how many revolutions you've turned the bolt), then crank away. I did 3 full revs on mine, and got about 1 - 1 1/2" of lift.

Yep...same process....you get the same stiff crummy ride if you crank them too far...
