Well, I had to go to work these past 3 days (hence, my absense).

 

We went to Culpeper, VA. Had to totally redo the whole Hallmark section. We had to take all the product down, and put it away. Then, we had to strip he aisle down to the bare floor. Take the old fixtures out back and throw them into a dumpster. The dumpster is right beside the "Quick Lube".

 

Well, I was doing the final "trash duty" of the job and I was noticing them backing a customer's car out. So as I throw trash out I hear this squeal. I look over and they're doin' a burnout in the customer's car!

A lot of places do that, they abuse peoples car.  That's why I wouldn't take my truck to a quick lube place where you leave your car w/ some teenage kids.

There is a lot of stuff done that we don't see. Dealers are just as bad. I learned years ago to set my trip odometer when I bring a vehicle in for service work. They used a friends truck and made deliveries.

All places have their problems. Don't be too quick to judge Wal-Mart by the stupid actions of one store.

I suppose none of us have done that on a test drive with a vehicle we had no intention of buying?  ;)

thats crazy!!!  you could probably get the dealer in a whole lot of trouble then because you have the invoice and the k's were written down before it was taken away..

 

Not as bad as a mechanic at another GM dealer in our area was doing a final check over of a brand new *already paid for* corvette and he pulled out into the main intersection and some guy wrote it off.. :notice:
