Hello,

 

I would like to know the manipulation for removing the radio in my silverado 2009 extended cab. Also, I will change 4 speakers + tweeters. How do you remove the doors panels?

 

The doors panels are like in 2 parts. Are there screws or plastic clips somewhere on that? I just do not want to break the panel for fun....

The radio bezel just snaps on and off. Be careful prying it, start at the top left where it meets the dash and gauge cluster area. Just use your fingertips and it'll come. Then, undo the power outlet disconnects. You probably have to tilt your steering wheel down to get it all the way off. From there, I think it's just 8mm screws holding the radio and the A/C controls in. The rest is self explanatory as far as the radio goes. I have the work truck so my door panels are a little easier to remove, I'm not sure about the panels with power windows and locks.
