Diablo Predator Doesnt Work On 4.8l

i went thru and did everything the tuner asked me to do and it felt the same nomatter whjat tune i downloaded. has anyone else had this problem? is there something im doing wrong? if i cant get it right by the end of the week im going to have to return it

Did you do some logging and adjust your LTFTs? Did you talk to 06montess on the Diablo forums about a custom tune?

i did the diablo performance tune. when i called diablo they said " your truck is 6000lbs thats why you wouldnt see as much of a gain as a mustang or lighter car." i didnt think i would get that much but i thought i would feel somethnig

If that's their customer service, I'd send it back and give Justin at Black Bear a chance to do something to your 6,000 pound non-Mustang.

What data logging did you do. It worked awesome for me. You should notice a nice difference once the LTFT's are dialed in :lol:

yeah, exactly ^ ^ ^ ^ ^

 

even without getting the fueling dialed in, if you installed the diablo tune correctly and received no errors, and are using good 91/93 octane gas, you should definitely notice a difference in response and power...

 

and getting your fueling dialed in correctly gets you more - more throttle response, better acceleration, stronger pull, better mileage, etc etc....
