Brakes

2001 Sliverado Z71 5.3.. Front brakes are not releasing 99% of the time. The other time they either operate normal or the pedal goes to the floor further than normal.. For the most part the pedal is super stiff. When going from a dead stop,the truck doesnt want to go and when applying the brakes to stop the entire front end of the truck starts to shake or has a tight bounce for lack of better term.. Once letting off of the gas pedal the truck will stop on its own pretty quickly as if im applying the brakes even when im not..So tired of a dragging truck.

 

HELP PLEASE !! Any ideas.. Master cylinder maybe ?

sounds like the caliper is sticking.
