Oem To Oem Swap

I have a 09 cd single disc/mp3/sat player non bose in my set-up and was wondering if I could replace it with an 08 cd changer/mp3/sat unit. I realize I would have to have it re-vin ed, just dont want lose anything or burn anything up. Just want to keep the stock look and not have to keep changing out cd's one at a time. Tried searching but didn't see anything on these years.Not sure on how the ID's all work. You guys are pretty smart so I thought I'd ask.

I did this when I first got mine and soon realized what a dinosaur the 6 cd changers are. I have since gone to an MP3 player that is the size of my palm that holds 16 gigs of music (that's about 50 cd's). By the time you swap and then get the dealer to reprogram, you could have bought a very nice mp3 player. I fought it at first too, but it really has been the best thing.
