The truck came with this pin stripe that really doesn't bother me, except for the fact the the part on the passenger side front fender is all crinkled and jacked and instead of replacing i'm thinking of just removing it completely. My only concern is that the paint could be faded and i'm still going to see where it was. If in fact this is the case, is there anything I can do to blend it in? Buffer maybe? Coat of wax and some elbow grease?

Truck is an 06 so its not that old and its not some big decal, but you never know.

Thanks.

get a powerball from one of your local autopart stores to take it off and then wash it well and buff it smooth..

we did it on my buddy's cobalt and it was a pain.. we did it with a hairdryer and my fingernails.. took a while but it came out looking way better..

You won't notice it all that much. My last car was red with a gold pinstripe. It was an 03 and I took the pinstripe off in 07. If you really looked you could see the difference in colors but it looked better without the gold stripe for sure. It was a Florida car so the sun baked it pretty good.
