Abs Problem?

I have a 2004 GMC Sierra, 1500 Ext Cab.

Attached to the frame rail, directly below the driver's seat is a motor with five, approximately 1/4" metal tubes running into the front of it. This motor continues to run after the vehicle is shut off and keys removed. I was able to get underneath and disconnect the two wire pigtail that supplies power and the motor quit running.

Now the amber ABS dash light is on along with the red Brakes light.

Even after setting for a while, the motor will restart if I plug the disconnected pigtail back in.

What is my likely problem and fix?

Thanks,

John

We have had a number of topics on the abs motor in the past. A search will likely give you a number of solutions. I want to say the name Module Masters sounds familiar as a company that you can send it to to have a repair done.
