I'd like to know how far it swings out. Does it come out a full 180 deg, or only as far as they show in the pics.

Dont have one but was looking at one. I really liked the idea behind it but after seeing it in person it was just to small to make any sense.

This is the 1st truck I've had with no toolbox (it had a nice tonneau cover on it when I got it), and I'm almost ready to dump the tonneau in favor of storage . I used my toolbox before to store all kinds of stuff that I didn't want inside the truck, and right now, that isn't an option.

 

I can see where the swing case would be good for small stuff, but the gal size containers of oil I carry for my boat when I have a fishing tx just won't work in it.

I had seen them last year and really wanted one, but for the price it just wasn't worth it. I have a cover and could use the extra storage space as well. They would be handy if cheaper.

I saw the link earlier, but to me, the ad only show it swinging out just past 90 deg. Not good enough for me to thnk about getting it. If it swung out 180 deg, then maybe.

I have one and I love it. It swings out between 90 and 180 degrees. It is the cable that holds the tailgate level that actually limits a full swing to 180 degrees. Even where it swings out to it is easily accessible.

 

I have a tonneau cover and the full size wheel well toolboxes won't fit under it. This case is designed well and I might even add one to the other side down the line.
