True Duals

Has anyone out there ever done true duals on their '07-up Silverado? Been thinking about it for a down-the-road upgrade, but I'm only playing with the idea now. Anyone has pictures? First-hand experience?

Are you planning on doing some major engine mods?

 

There is no reason true duals can't be ran on your truck, but there is no reason to run them on your truck either. That is unless you plan on changing cams and sticking a super charger on it. A good aftermarket cat-back system will out perform true duals on a relatively stock truck.

 

And I know that someone will probably mention back pressure. No your truck does not need back pressure. It needs good scavenging and a good single exhaust will out scavenge a lot of dual exhaust systems on a stock motor with just bolt-ons.

My intention is to definitely do an engine upgrade in the near future. Still not sure exactly of what I want to do (still doing research, thinking, etc), but I definitely want something fast and high performing. 100% it'll be an LS or LS-based, just not sure which one yet. Performance is definitely on my mind for this truck.
