I just bought a set of bentchi rims 24" b15 rim for my 2008 silverado. I put the wheels on and now at high speeds like 50+ it starts to shake. I thought it was a balance problem so I brought them to the tire shop and had them rebalanced. They said that the wieght where of a couple oz or so and that one was slightly bent! not to mention theses are brand new rims that where only on the car for a day and the front one was bent. Could the shaking cause this? Any way needless to say it still shaking called the company that sold them to me and they said I might need hub rings for the rims and to hold tight and they will be here in 7 days...wtf I also asked him about the bent wheel the shop told me about and the guy like theres no way there brand new and you cant tell if a rim is bent on a balance machine. you would need to have it tested. So as we stand now is there sending me the hub rings to see if it solves the problem he said that it wont harm the rims or the truck to drive like this this then the 10 miles to and from work. What do you guys think?? please help

Go outside, take all 4 wheels off of the truck. Look at the studs. If there are any retaining washers on the studs (used to hold the drums/rotors in place on the assembly line) take them off. Put new wheels back on and test drive.

Dave, did this work for you?

Also if you get chance post a picture and sizes of your tire/wheel info if you could. I am torn between 22's/24's.

Thanks.
