Engine Break In?

i just got my 2010 sierra regular cab

it has 1450 km's now and i've, and i've mostly driven it between 60-80 km/h until 600km and then 100km/h until 1450

so i was wondering was that a good way to break in the engine.

And can i know floor it after my first service at the dealers.

BTW im in UAE , in the middle east.

Its pretty much already broken in.

I Believe in break it in like your gonna drive it....

This is like asking what oil is best!

 

I tend to go overboard with break ins ... babying the hell out of it for the first 5000 miles, changing the oil 3 times in the first 1000 miles, etc. I've never had an engine problem ... but neither have any of my buddies ..... who stab it to the floor & bring it past redline as soon as the dealership finishes the paperwork. Motors are pretty tough these days.

I think the biggest question here is;

 

Are you going to keep it long enough for it to make a difference?

 

 

you may see your engine last 50K longer...but are you gonna keep it for the 400K to notice?
