i have a stock 2007 1500 z71 4x4. im looking to get a leveling kit, 20s and tires. how big of a tire can i get without rubbing? whats a good leveling kit? and how can i do all of this while maintaining ride quality?

 I would go with nothing bigger then a 33. Minor rubbing. So you may want to go to a 18 in wheel or smaller. 20's on a 33 shows no tire and all wheel in my opinion. Riding will stay the same.

Below my factory 20's with 33" Coopers. Only rare rub when suspension gets compressed while turning... nothing major.

I dunno if you'll have rubbing issues with 33's and an offset/backspace different from factory. Have to let someone chime in on that one...

Ride quality will suffer with a spacer lift, there are many on here that will disagree, but I have a situation where I have a stock truck and a lifted truck, the stock truck rides better by far, and they were both on the stock bridgestones, the only difference was the leveling kit. They rode the same before the leveling kit.

If you were to go with new Coilovers that are adjustable then the ride may be the same, I don't know, I haven't tried them, I think they are made by Bilstein.

you can fit 33's on the gmt-900's with just a leveling kit.. the stock tires are 275's so i wouldn't go much wider if you are worried about rubbing.
