Leveling a 99 Silverado

Anyone here leveled out their 2WD Silverado?  I would like to do this but dont know for sure which route to go.  I thought maybe 2 inch lowering shackles at the rear would do the trick.  Will this work, will anything rub?  Anyone possibly have a picture of their truck after the leveling?

I say go with the 2" drop shackles for the back, the truck will look a lot nicer after you drop the rear down a bit.  I think, not 100% sure, but look in the picture post forum, I believe that "Victory Red" put some two inch drop shackles on his truck.

 

Or you could always go w/ the cheaper and easier alternative, just go and pick up a few thousand pounds of your favorite material, I.E. Hay, gravel, sand, etc...

Keep in mind, if you lower the rear and tow or haul a heavy load, it will sag down in the rear even more.  Just a thought.

Thanks for the info guys, I will check out the pics section.   dont ever haul heavy loads.  The only thing heavy my truck ever pulls is my Jetski and there is maybe 40 to 60 LBs of tongue weight.
