Different Remote Start Question?

on aftermarket remote start systems you can put the car in park and press the appropriate button so that when you pull the key the engine stays running because of the remote start. is this possible with the factory remote start?

 

and cause i know someone will ask i want to do this in the winter so that the trans fluid still pumps after i am done plowing. and i know i can just shut it off and then remote start it and walk away. but that makes me use the starter twice as much in the winter.

Why would you need the transmission fluid to keep pumping? It can and will cool down on its own....

Not with the factory remote starter. Car has to be locked and shut off. With aftermarket like viper or python or various hundreds of other this is called Valet Mode i think. So if you want this feature and many others you have to go aftermarket.
