Edge Progammer Problems :(

I just purchased a 2007 Chevy Silverado 5.3L ...and it had an Edge Programmer in it. When I turn the truck on, the screen will not power on. So I did some research and everything is hooked up right. It said to update the software then it would work. I did it will not let me update the software because it says please revert to Stock setting (0) when I try to update. This is impossible considering the screen will not power on for me to do it. I don't know if its broke or Theres something else I can try. The only pin on my OBDII that has power is (16) dunno if this is the only one that should have power.

 

Ne ideas would be Appreciated Thanks haven't called Edge yet.

 

Also does this mean that even though the programmer isn't powered there is still a setting set...???that my truck is running in.

When I plugged it into my computer via USB cable the screen did light up and turn different colors.
