Sealing The Tailgate

Has anyone tried using the seal that is on the bottom of the NNBS trucks as a tailgate seal or something similar ?

 

I am afraid the stick on foam stuff won't last, as it runs about 50/50 on the reviews I have seen.

 

I need to do something, as the dust/mist that gets in the bed is unbelievable. I have never had a truck that had such a huge gap between the tailate and the bed.

I used a kit from Truxedo for the tail gate, I looked at some hardware stores but could only find the foam. The kit has a rubber seal that looks like it will hold up as long as you don't drag things across it, it also keeps the water out nicely. I'll have to charge the battery for the cam and take some pictures for you.

I used the TrailSeal kit from Agricover, and it has worked great for me. I drive on gravel roads every day.
