Edge Products Problem

when i reprogram the tire size to a 33" tire, then after a few miles my abs/e-brake light comes on and ive emailed edge about it with no help at all.

Apparently this is not a uncommon problem with a tune and tire size change. From what I understand you have to purchase some sor of module. There has been a recent discussion on here about it with some having a Black Bear tune and the same issue after changing tire size.

Correct.

 

It has to do with some sort of miscommunication between the ABS sensors, the ECM, and the BCM. There is a module that I think Edge makes that will compensate for this. Or you just use your Edge to tell the computer you have stock tire size. Then the light will go off, BUT your speedo will be off.

I bought the evolution just to find out it would not allow for tire size changes with the 6l90. I returned it for the CS and have not had any problems since, it recalibrated my speedo. No light issues, you have some problem for sure. Have you tried putting in the tire size by circumference as opposed to the metric or standard format? Have you tried checking for DTC errors?

BTW, I increased to tire size 285/70/17 which is 32.70 with no issue.
