Aftermarket Cd Player

I have a 2009 silverado and I am looking to put an aftermarket sound system in it including cd player. I was wondering if I will be able to keep my onstar or if there are certain cd players that onstar will still work with. I would like the aftermarket player just because it allows full control of everything, but also dont want to give up all the benefits of onstar. I know the amp and speakers will hook up to the stock radio but just dont think it sounds as good. Also if I do put an aftermarket cd player in will it void any part of my warranty? Any advice or help is appreciated.

You will need a Metra GMOS-100 wiring harness. It will keep your On-Star, Door Chimes and Retained Accesory Power. The sky is the limit as to what CD player you want to put into the truck. You should have no warranty issues with an aftermarket deck installed.

Ok thanks, however I did a search to try and find one of the harnesses and couldnt find one any ideas where I could purchase one.

try crutchfield.com i think they have the wiring harness and you also get free mounting hardware,wiring harness,and free shipping.

Crutchfield.com was the way to go. I found the cd player and wiring harness. They took half off the harness since I bought the deck from them and also got free mounting hardware and wiring.
