OK, ordered my wheels and getting my lift (5" Zone). Was wondering if you thing a 285 70 17 would look to small and skinny? They are 32 something and I think like 11" wide. Cant find to many 33x12.50 out there or to many 305 65 17 or 295 70 17 in a mud tire. Tire rack has the 285 70 17 BFG KM2's for just over 200 a tire. 2008 GMC Sierra cc 4wd btw...

There are about a million 33x12.50 mud tires out there to choose from. And yes, IMO 285 70 17 would be way too skinny with 5 inches of lift. But thats just my taste. I run 275's with just a leveling kit is why I say they would look kinda skinny.

You are correct, as long as your not looking for a 17". That is why I originally asked about a 17". So, just in case you missed what I said, there are not that many 33X12.50X17 mud tires out there.
