4L60E deep filter

I did mine recently, got my filter from napa, all they had was napa proselect brand, just wondering what other brands you guys use.

When I do mine, I plan to get a Napa gold (aka Wix) or if I can't find it at napa, I'll look to see if I can get it directly from wix

NAPA doesn't have GOLD they only have PROSELECT for that transmission, at least thats what they told me.

ac delco from dealer...get the whole kit at a good price

The dealer wanted close to $100 I think. NAPA regular price for NAPA PROSELECT

(4L60E deep-sump) was $32. I paid about $22 with a discount.

-Included a new rubber gasket and the seal that goes in the the transmission where the filter neck goes, and of course the filter.

What is the dealer price where you are?

Does that include the pan gasket? I just phoned the chevy stealership and they wanted somewhere around $90.00 without the pan gasket. I havent tried Napa but did phone another small outfit and they wanted sixty dollars with the pan gasket

yeah, but its a cheap cork POS gasket.

I would never think about using it. I reuse the stock gasket most of the time...unless it looks bad.
