Leveled The Truck Out Finally

Finally got it done. I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I even considered going with a 2/4 drop but with the step bars and splash guards I did not think the drop would look right. So here it is all done.

You did the shackles? Looks way better, have you thought of removing the rear lift blocks?

Yea just used 2 in lowering shackles. If I remove the blocks it might set the rear lower than the front. Right now the back is aboout 1/4-1/2 inch higher and the install guy said it may settle a little more within 20 miles or so.

Looks a lot better...Now if I could just get my hands on used lower Denali grille to fill in the "coin slot"

I've been admiring that front bumper over on Denali Trucks too.

What brand did you go with? I went with the Belltech 2 Inch Drop Kit that came with spacers to get rid of the rear lift blocks. I removed the rear lifts blocks and added the 2 Inch Drop Shackles and my truck is completely level. Planning to go lower in the future though, but for now I'm good.

Truck looks awesome!! So all you did was the rear shackles right? How hard is the install on these? And I am looking at getting 24's for my truck...do you think I will have any issues? And where did you buy the shackles from?

All I had done was the shackle swap for the rear. I actually had a shop do it for me. I heard that unless you take the bed off it is a little difficult as the pinch welds in the bed floor need to be notched to get the bolds in and out. I did not want to try either options so the local shop do it and they had it done in about an hour. I dont think you will have any issues with the 24's

Very nice looking! I was wondering, did you program the truck for the 22's? I only ask because I have 20's on mine and I have not programmed the truck for them yet.

Mine were installed by the dealer and when they put them on they reprogramed it. I got the 22's because when I purchased the truck the window sticker on it said it had the 20's but the dealers swaped the with another truck before I bought it and it had the stock 17's on. So I struck a deal with the dealer for an additional $500 I would have them put 22's on and they would correct the TPMS and spedo to the new ones.
