Tpms Question

I have a set of TPMS that I bought off of ebay for an 07 Avalanche. However, I just traded off the Avalanche for an 09 Silverado 1500. Will they work in the new truck or do I need to sell them and buy another set? Also, not sure how old these are. How long to the batteries last in these things? FYI, some of the numbers off of them are 15825475, PPA-GF33, 315Mhz, and 2810788A. Not sure which one the part number is.

Thanks in advance.

Hey mrkln,

Resetting your TPMS is an easy thing to do, in case you didn't know that.

Look on page 5-79 in your owners manual.

THOR.

PS. My apologies here guys!!! I have simply GOT to read catagories better. mrkln, I AM NOT A CERTIFIED GM anything! Except buyer?

They should work fine. Just need to program them into the TPMS system

That's what I thought. I know how to reprogram them as I had to do it a couple of times on my Avalanche and for friends. I just wanted to make sure they would reprogram to my new truck. Any idea on battery life?

Don't know for certain but I've been told the GM life was supposed to be 5 years or more.

Its cool man...you don't have to be a tech to post here....most of us aren't...If you have an idea about something and you think your info may help someone...by all means post it up.

I will give advice when I have it. It may not be GOOD advice, but then again, I give no warranty either.....written nor implied! LOL!
