Leveling Kits For A 01 Gmc 1500 Z71

Hey guys I am new here. I recently just bought a 2001 GMC 1500 Ext Cab Z71. I have heard many diffrent things about leveling kits. I am looking to raise the front but dont want to mess anything up. Please help me figure out what to get as far as a leveling kit goes. I am willing to pay extra money if it ensures less damage to the front end.

Just crank the torsion bars, or spend a few bucks and buy torsion keys

If i buy the keys does it mess up the front end of the truck?

if you crank them too much yes, a mild crank won't hurt much

Ive been looking at buy the 2'' Torsion Keys from a number of places. I am asking if i buy them will it screw up the front end and which one should i buy?

Pretty much all torsion keys do the same. When you lift your truck you are going to put weird angles and what not on your front end. If you are going to crank them just don't go too high.

Do you know anything about the pro comp leveling kit? It says it doesn't change the steering geometry. Is that true?
