I was wondering if anyone has used Edelbrock performer IAS shocks before.

I am looking at Bilstein and Edelbrock...but for availability I may have to go with the Edlebrocks

Depends if My local parts store can get Bilsteins for me.

Please Advise!

I haven't used the Bilsteins in a Chevy before, but I have the Edelbrock Xtreme IAS which is the Performer IAS for lifted trucks. The Edelbrocks are pretty much perfect. Above 40mph, it's like riding on glass it's so smooth but once you turn, the shocks are stiff and there's no noticeable body roll compared with other high end shocks. They're stiff when they need to be and smooth when they need to be. I originally got the Edelbrocks because they were cheaper than the Bilsteins, but I'm gonna get them again if they last for a decent shock lifetime.

Thanks for the reply man.

I really did like the way they sounded during summits write up of them...But nothing beats real world experience.

I'll probably grab a set as soon as I get back home...another month to go.
