Installing My Dual Command Kit

Hi from B.C. Canada,

I'm new to your forum, but have enjoyed reading alot of posts.

I have a 2009 Silverado and I've installed my air ride bags, but I seem to have come up against a wall. Literally, the wall between the engine and the cab. I want to install my compressor under the hood, and my controller in the cab. I have no problem with any of that, but I can't find a place to run the air lines through to the cab. Anyone have any idea...experience?

thanks,

angel

I remember someone running them in through a vent somewhere, but I don't recall exactly, but you may have to drill a hole, and find a grommet and seal it all up good.

What brand bags did you go with, and if you don't mind me askin, how much and where did you get them.

Also some pics would be nice too

Hi Sportsman, thanks for the advice. I am probably going to have to drill, as the 2009 has all the vent access's covered inside and out, the wiring harness sleeve is to tight to get three tubes through, and I don't want to cut it.

As for the bags, I went with the firestone air rides. I got the dual command gauge and compressor as well. Paid $649. with taxes. It was going to cost another 300 to have it installed, but I figured I could do it myself. And I will ofcourse..lol.

I will post pics soon. I have to down size an album for this forum. I just joined today.

PS thanks for the welcome
