First off, I use my truck in the woods atleast 50% of the time,,, so I run MT tires...

Everytime I find a MT tire I love, it gets discontinued... My personal choice was the uniroyal MT,, gone.. Then a bridgestone MT,,,, discontinued... Dayton timberline MT(got about 40 K on em and still have good tread) discontinued..

I am torn between destination MT's, cooper discover STT, and the new BFG MT KO whatever tire.. Anyone run the coopers?? they look gnarly, but are inline with the price of the BFG tires...

Or should I just go for the home run ball, and get some boggers?hahaha

What size do you want? Look on eBay for military surplus tires. They'll require a 16.5" rim, and they're 37's so you'd need a lift, but $600 for 5 Goodyear Wrangler MT's is a sweet deal.

I ran a set of Toyo Open County M/T's on my last truck. They handled great, were smooth, and lasted. I drive 95% on the road. HTH.

Dick Cepek Mud country's Had 'em on my Jeep and have them on my wifes Jeep. Awesome tire in the mud and great street manners.
