Chrome Tailgate Handle

Does anyone here have the GM chrome tailgate handle. I think that the part number is 19212672 (for those with the locking tailgate). I am very interested in the part and I think that it would look good on the truck, but I would really like to see pictures before I purchase.

I wouldn't get it. I've seen it on some trucks and it just makes it look cheap, IMO.

That is exactly why I wanted to see pics of it first. I thought that if I painted the bezel that it wouldn't look too bad, but I really want to see it on a truck.

I think with the painted bezel and only the actual handle chrome, it would actually look pretty cool.

I think it would look great with the painted bezel. basically you would be creating a GMT-800 "Escalade" handle.... I had the set up on my '03 Silverado. Of course now our door handles don't have buckets, but you having the chrome door handles it should look great.

I think that it would look kind of cool.

 

So I am guessing that no one has any pics of it on a truck.

I seen one on a Sierra at the dealership. Like mine, it had the black trim around it and the chrome looked out of place to me. Looks good on the red chevy above tho...

the whole handle looks awful and tacky but i think just the handle would look good as i have seen it before.
