07 Tahoe Bose ( Loaded - Nav)

Ok guys...

 

I would like to add bluetooth and Ipod controls to the factory deck. It is possible to get both?

 

The Tahoe has DVD's but done by the dealer in the headrests. ( SO it is not controled by the HU.)

 

 

OPTION #2+

 

 

I may just reinstall my PIONEER HU with both those options. (Question on that is I had it in my 07 Silvy but it was a non BOSE) Will the harness work or will I need to buy another harness so the BOSE will work?

What adapter harness do you have currently? It may or may not work with the Bose system.

 

As far as the factory solutions, use the search feature and do some reading. Both bluetooth and ipod controls/USB input have been covered ad nauseum.

You'll need the newer PAC OS-4 for compatibility with Bose.

 

That is definitely going to be the cheapest route for you to go if you don't mind aftermarket equipment. Obtaining the factory parts to upgrade OnStar (for adding bluetooth) and the PAL or a 2010 USB-equipped headunit are going to cost significantly more than simply buying an adapter to reuse the head unit you already have.

Sorry just looked up teh part sounds like i will need the PAC steering wheel unit as well for that. Local shop quoted me 350 to install - parts and labor. (using my current dash kit and antennea adaptor.) Is that a good price?

That sounds reasonable; I'd say go for it.
