Issue With Wiper Blades

I've been noticing lately that the wiper blade on my 2003 Sierra does not clean very good right through the middle of the windshield. I've replaced the blades and the passenger side works good, but it's almost like there isn't enough pressure on the arm to make it clean good. Isn't there a tension spring on the arm? Can that be replaced or does the whole arm need to be replaced?

Thanks,

Scott

try cleaning the blades with alcohol. i put some on a paper towel and wipe the rubber down, even on new out of the box blades.. some come with the small packet to use. also clean the windshield real good. you could have a oil/dirt build up that you can't see. vinegar and water works will, and so will Bon Ami..

good luck
