This morning, we were running a couple of errands in my wife's Odyssey.  Not really looking for trouble or anything.  This riced out Civic hatchback (lowered, no hubcaps, stock wheels, big wing, fart can, yellow offset racing stripes, and NOS stickers) started weaving its way through traffic.  It was starting to get really annoying, because it stayed in the lane next to us just slightly behind, neck to neck with an older (late '80's) Camaro.  He was trying to get the Camaro to race.  At the next red light, the Camaro, the ricer, and us were lined up.  My wife was also getting annoyed, so she tells me to take them.  She was twisting my arm. :) When the light turned green, the Camaro and our Odyssey took off.  We kept up with the Camaro, but the ricer was doing everything he could to catch up.  The Civic was giving everything it had.  He was at least 1 to 2 car lengths behind.  When we stopped at the next red light, I gave the thumbs up to the guy in the Camaro, he gave a big grin back, the ricer did not want to pull up to either one of us.  He stopped just to the back corner of our van.  I looked in my rearview mirror and saw his girl in the passenger seat LHAO.  I guess it is just a bit tough to be spanked by a minivan and vintage American iron at the same time. :D Time for more NOS stickers. :D

You're lucky he didn't have a VTEC sticker as well!

That VTEC sticker, when used in conjunction with a NOS sticker is worth 120 hp or 1.5 seconds in the 1/4!

LOL.  He did have VTEC stickers.  It was also a Type R.  Plus he had the yellow Acura badges.  That must have meant that he had at least 500 hp.

Man you are lucky!!!!!

You must have some stickers on your Odessy.  Tell the truth, you've got them hidden dont you???

You can tell us about that "MagnaCharger" sticker on the glovebox... That "no smoking" one right next to it gave you the traction you needed to spank him off the line!!! :)

OK, you got me.  I have been wanting to put that Z71 sticker on the flank of the Ody for a while. :D  That would make it invincible. hehe. :)  :D

Yeah well my buddies friends sisters brothers aunt know's this guy who's trash man...has a Honda Civic Si V-TEC Type-R that will eat anything short of a 880 TT Viper and a 725hp TT Corvette....lmao :jester:

It was also a Type R.

:jester: Look around closely... Theyre all "Type Rs" anymore... :( I swear, I need to get into the decal/ badging business...  :thumb:

no kidding, you can walk into autozone and buy the badges right off the shelf.  I mean, I wish there was such a big following for trucks that you could walk into an auto parts store and just grab what you wanted off the shelf.  Just goes to show you how big of a deal this is.  Now, when I look in the checker add there is a good half the page of ricer junk.

What I hate most is seeing a nice firebird or camaro w/ a type r badge on it.  I mean, you've got a muscle car, why the heck would you destroy it by putting a ricey thing such as that on it.

LOL... Youd get pissed living here where I do... Just down the road in El Paso, Ive seen Firebird/ Camaro lowriders... I mean real, painted, hydro'd, felt interior lowriders... Makes me sick... But at least they only do that crap to V6 platforms... Id 'TKO' the guy I saw do it to a T/A or a SS....

Oh yeah...I love putting ricers in their places. :thumb:   They can never believe that they just got spanked by a 7000 pound diesel.  I love it that look on their faces when they pull back along side when I hit my brakes...looks a lot like this==> :jester:  :seeya:

And then for the added anger effect, sometimes I keep an order of fried rice in the container beside me...and throw some into the usually-open window then take off again and leave them in a nice thick cloud of smoke :(  :flag:
