Annoying Chime

The door/key chime has started sounding more like a vibrating chime. Not a big deal but the sound is annoying, anyone replaced thiers? Truck is an '01.

I believe the chime is part of the BCM in these model trucks and is soldered directly to the board. To get rid of the chime you can cut the key sense wire in the steering column.

Yea, that is what I thought, I can feel it vibrating in there.
