Well tomorrow is my first day back, So if you dont see me around I am doing homework all of the time! :)  Maybe thats where ":blues:" Elwood is, havent seen him around lately!   :D

Yep I start back tomorrow also.  Don't actually have my first class until Tue. morning, but I have ROTC PT at 0600 tomorrow morning.  Guess I should buy my books too...lol.

I wish I was going back to school. After school all that is left is to go to work every day for about another 44 years if you retire at age 62 with no 3 month summer vaction. Good luck in school and enjoy it while you can.  :)

For some reason we are starting school a week later than we normally do.  Therefore, I don't start school until September 2nd....yep, one more week to party without worrying about homework!

Our fist Full Week of classes start tomorrow, but I've been here for two weeks.  I have a jo here as a RA in the on Campus apartments we live in, so I've been pretty busy keeping things caught up with everyone moving in, and my computer is screwed up and I don't like getting on here much on Becky's laptop, because it's slower.  So I'm here, bt just not as much as I'd like to be.  Hopefully by next weekend, I'l be sttled in and have my PC back.   :)

I am kind of getting depressed about not being there this semester, as I still haven't found a job  :)

Getting ready for my second week...I am starting to miss my Summer of no responsibilities.   :)

Than again I only have one class going towards my minor...bus. finance...the rest are electives.  Waiting for my professional program to start next semester.

I goin again tomorrow also.  Hopefully a semester here in NY then transfer to U of Florida in the spring.

Started back today.  I was kind of looking forward to getting the year started, because this is my last year.  Should be a good year, only have 14 hrs each semester.  I'm used to taking between 17-19 hrs, so this is a big change.  Nice to see some of the guys that have been in my classes for the last three years again as well.  Been awhile since we have gone out and drank beer together.

Well first day back wasnt tooo bad, it seemed really long though! Parking is TERRIBLE, I am ok though on mondays and wednesdays because I am one of the few that has the early morning classes but tomorrow I dont go in till 1:00 so I better plan for a hike! It sucks really, to pay to go there and they dont even have enough parking for everyone :)  Well hope everyone else had a pretty good day!

It seems here that parking gets better after the 3rd week when people find that they can't show up 10min bfore class and find a spot.  They start riding together or take the transit system.  I swear freshman shouldn't be allowed to drive on campus, they should stay in the dorm.  :angry:

      You can always count on greed to prey on ignorance and stupidity.    Friend bought a 2019 Ford Flex and asked me about using Valvoline R&P 5W30 in it. Told him give the miles on it and the fact it wasn't yet using oil that it was a good plan. He uses a Valvoline quick change shop for his oil service.   First they tell him that isn't the oil the OEM recommends. He told them he didn't care what the OEM thought. Then they floated the, "But it will void your warranty"    His reply was it's a 2019, there is no warranty and informed them their knowledge of the law was lacking.    Then they tell him 'But it will ruin your motor"!.    Mine to ruin he says. Finally they give in and charge him 150% the semi-syn price    Point it the brainwash is so embedded that even the service industry is drunk on their swill. The public is right behind them. Echoing the same lies on every forum and media platform. If the end goal is indeed EV then I'd say that ship is about built.

      Diesel hit $6.00 here today at the truck stop.   Payed $2.79 for E85 today too.

      2026 6.6 L5P oil cooler leaking oil at 4,000 miles

      New to diesel trucks. I happened to find my oil cooler leaking oil externally with only 4,000 miles on the truck. I didn’t realize this was an issue until I started researching it. Dealer is going to replace it under warranty but I’m wondering if there’s anything GM is working on to fix this issue. I’ve heard the oil filter used is the same as they use on their V6 motors and that’s what is causing the problems. Should I switch to a bigger filter or keep using the OEM recommended?

      Seems to be Missing a lot of Updates

      So, GMCustomerService:  Judging by the Update History pictured above, is this truck missing any updates that it actually needs. If it's just for the infotainment system, the radio is working fine and no trouble with SeriusXM. and Android Auto is working fine wirelessly with my phone. Some months ago, an update notice was sent to my truck. I approved the update and it finished saying that the update was successful, but it seems that whatever that update was, it didn't actually get installed - at least not if I'm to go by the Update History shown above.   So, again, are there any updates that this truck really should have? I've checked with my dealer but they're reluctant or commit to anything and if I want them to check, they require a $200.00 fee just to check it out and then I'd have to pay for the actual update(s).    Ignorance is bliss, and if none of the updates goes to fixing any mechanical discrepancies, I'll just leave things as is.
