What has been yout wear out expereince for the OEM Bridgestone V-Steel tires? They ride well on the highway but they are not much good when you get off in the grass. At 10K miles mine still seem to have many miles left in them.

I'm at 25k and don't think the will last past 30k. Funy think is I heard other complain about them not lasting long and I was with you, at about 10k I thought wow they seem like they are where great. I agree they ride nice but they suck in the snow and about anything but dry pavement.

:D Sound just like BFG AT's :D . . . I don't even bother buying HT = Highway Tread or AT = All Terrain tires, they seem to work on all terrains but the one your on :D . . .

I only MT's now ! If the Mudders are radials i can get 45K+ miles out of no problem . . . I had set of TSL radial 33x10.50R15's they went 43,000 miles and i never left the pavement never got stuck in the snow but towe plenty of guys running AT's out tho :D

EDIT:

I'm switching over from 16's to 19.5's on my K2500 19.5 MT's & MTR's last 60-75K miles AT's & HT's last even longer if you have 8 or 10 lug wheels i recommend switching over . . . DRW or SRW don't matter got a half ton ? no biggie you can have a set of wheels made and still be money ahead in the long run . . .

Keep the 16's and get yourself some Cepek Fun Country II's. IMO they're one of the best AT's out there. Mine have over 40k on them and look almost new. (There's just scratched in the rubber from doing burnouts)

I got 30k out of the first set of rears (at 80PSI).

I had 51k on the fronts (at 60PSI) when I took them off to upgrade to 17's and they still had some life left in them.

The new pair of rears (at 65PSI to keep the TPMS light off) still looked like they had plenty of life left in them after 21k.

Small as heck tires.

No matter what they wear like iron and mine look like

new at 30k miles ! I run stock 50 frt./80 rear pressures.

No traction issues snowplowing either...............
