Wil They Fit?

I am putting a Tuff Country 6" Lift on an 05 GMC Sierra that right now is about bone stock. What I want to do is put Nitto Trial Grapplers (35x12.50R20) on a set of Moto Metal 954's (20x10; -18mm offset 4.75" Backspacing). Does anyone see any problems with this?

I know they are going to stick out, but how far? Will I need to get a set of Bushwhackers to go with the ensemble? Am I going to have to cut anything? I am hoping they sit pretty and all goes well even if I have to turn out of a ditch.

 

I have ordered the lift but not the rims and tires.

 

Please help! The excitement is bursting out my ears!

Yeah, they'll fit. You MIGHT have to trim a little on the front bumper valence for it not to rub when you turn though. I also have -18mm Motos(958) at stock height with 285/60r18 tires and they rub the valence slightly when turning. You gotta love that tire sticking out look though, it makes the trucks stance much tougher looking!

Thanks for the feedback. I am still left curious. The 18" 958 has slightly different offset and backspace on a 20" rim. I have a different body style than what you are rolling with. My lower front bumpers are mostly plastic. What really has me worried is the windshield washing fluid in the front part of the fender on the driver side. If I cut out side plastic that’s fine, but inside fender plastic can be another issue.

 

I am probably just thinking and analyzing the whole thing a little too much and just need to pull the trigger on ordering the tires. ......this brings up another question. Any suggestions for ordering 2500 dollars worth of tires off an internet site? Just trying to have my bases covered. I have already spoken a place out of Fort Worth called wheelsforless. Ever heard of it?

I don't exactly see why you would have to cut the inside fender well plastic. If they don't fit you've got torsion bar bolts under there, just tighten em' and you'll gain anywhere from 1" to 2.5" of lift. I still think they'll fit just fine, maybe a little rubbing on stabilizer bar with a positive offset and rubbing on bumper valence with negative offset. I've never bought tires off the net before, but I did get my rims off Rimzoneonline.com. If I were buying tires I'd probably go with tirerack.com, though. Don't be worried about if wheels will fit, it shortens your lifespan.
