V-12 coming soon for GM?

The Northstar XV12 engine that was shown in the Cadillac Cien concept car last January is the same length as GM's Vortec 8100 V8, and it has the approximate width and height as the Northstar 4.6-liter and Vortec 6000 V8s.

 

This engine could be used in a GM truck and combined with Displacement on Demand to turn off half the cylinders to get a decent bump in mpg.
