Another New Truck Damaged

Cliff notes- Her and I were the only to vechicals parked in the entire parking lot. She was 3 length wise spaces ahead of me. She never looked put her mitsubishi outlander in reverse and stepped on it. But after a week long fight between insurance companies she finally claimed at fault. But the problem was the truck was mint and now has to be repaired and hopefully the body shop found me OEM parts and not aftermarket ones, total was 1200$.

That's about the only picture i have on if right now...

Man that sucks I feel bad for you. Some moron decided to put a nice dent in my front fender last week all they way down the the bare metal. Got quoted $362.00 to fix it. Now I have to worry about the fender matching up when its all done. I hate idiots who don't care about your vehicle. Try to own something nice and people just want to destroy it. I hope your truck gets fixed up good for you.

Me too, I'm stressing because the guy at the Dealer said how after 2 years it's hard to get OEM parts. And i stressed i wanted them. And if they aren't OEM I'm not settling for less. I saw what happens when you put aftermarket on, caps are all screwy etc. But if all else fails i'll be putting a set of these on.

That stinks man! Glad you are getting it taken care of though. Hope the repairs come out good. By the way, lets see that 6r!! 636 or RR?

EDIT: Those Fab Four Bumpers are BADASS!!! I have always liked them, just didn't think they made them for 1500's. NICE!

Awesome pics man! Great taste in pipe! The full system is a little pricey, but I feel they were one of the best for the 636's, or for that matter, any bike. Nice to see another track-dayer on here. I haven't been out in a few years, but I hope to get back into it soon. I rode with Team Pro Motion. I am loving the super motard and recently started looking around for one.

I think the guy at the dealership is on crack. You will have no problem getting oem parts.

Unless the guy at the dealership was planning on putting on cheap aftermarket stuff and pocketing the extra $$$

can't find OEM, wow, what a bunch of BS! hope your truck gets fixed right. have your insurance force them to order OEM. i once had my insurance look over the items before they were installed to make sure all OEM stickers and invoices were valid. good luck.

PS. quit posting picks of your bikes cause now i want one :jester:

What sucks the most is you had 1,200 in damage and since it's insurance claim you have now lost 5k in resale value.... DAMN Car Fax.

I'm diggin' the make-shift extend-able mirrors

OEM parts are readily available and you did not just lose money on your truck value. Man that phony story gets old.
