Outside Rear View Mirrors Will Not Move To The Right

I have an 07 Sierra NBS ECSB and the outside rear view mirrors will move in all directions but will not move to the right. Just curious if anyone has had this happen and what did it take to get this corrected. Just going on logic, to me it would seem that the switch itself is the problem.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I think your logic is correct. I have not seen the issue before.

on my 08 3500 GMC CCLB 4x4 it does not matter which spot you have the switch in both mirrors move when you try to adjust them

It's definitely the switch, either take it apart and spray it with electric contact cleaner or replace it.

I may try this if the dealer cannot get it right. Thanks for the tip. I have a can of LPS Contact Cleaner that I have been saving for just the right reason. This sounds like the right reason to me.

If the switch has alreadly been replaced and this problem persists, it may be a bad wire or connection in the harness for the mirror switch in the drivers door.

The selling dealer replaced the switch this morning and the mirrors all work correctly just like they did. Thanks for the help guys.
