I've been reading till my eyes hurt so can anyone tell me whats the difference with these Radios. I see some with what looks like 2 sets of 2 harness plugs and some with only 2 harness plugs.(pics seen on ebay mostly) Are these radios exchangeable. Is this a bose thing. I want to upgrade cd/mp3-sat/on*/non-bose to dvd/nav/usb running a seperate amp is not an issue for me. It looks like a few guys here are either doing this or have done it. Im confused on this plug thing.

The 2 harness 12 and 24 pin connectors I believe are for the Class II Data Buss (pre-2007, I call it the old body style)

 

The multi plug units are the newer style GM 29 Bit-Lan system (2007 and newer I call the new body style)

 

The 2 are not interchangeable

 

There is also a difference between the Bose and non Bose radios of both classes.
