Lube

Been trying to save money and doing oil changes myself. What about lube? Is there a specific type for the 2010 Silverado 1500? Is there a pic with the locations of all the places? Use to take it in to a local shop every once in a while, but they sold out and I don't trust the new owners.

use any 5w-30 oil you want, i'd recommend a decent brand and an ac delco filter....filter is directly in front of the trans slight to the right of the driver side tire, the drain plug is right next to the filter....pretty straight forward from there...

I get one of the synthetic chassis lubes... any of the brands will work.

 

For your 2010 there's only zerk fittings on the outter tie rods. All of the other joints are "greaseless"... for the time being.
