2010 Silverado, Factory Fog Lights

OK maybe not the best worded topic title, but I got a 2010 silverado with out fog lights. Has any one replaced those corner pieces on the bumper with ones with factory fog lights? If 2007 and up are the same should be able to find some in a salvage yard.

I installed them on my 2008 Silverado and I think they are the same for the 2010. I picked mine up from the dealer, had the new painted corners, light housings, bulbs, switch and wire harness. Took about 3 hours to do with hand tools (found out my bumper mount had a twist in it so it took a bit of work to force it in place so everything lined up, would have been faster if I had a buddy help). The kit was $300 - $350 from the dealer including tax.

Well the dealer got back to me, $335, but my color is not available yet? Silver Metallic? I asked if the chrome ones off a 2500 would work. I found them on EBAY, and I guess GM parts direct should have them too.

The chrome ones of a 2500HD won't work, they're a little taller than 1500 endcaps.

Yea, I parked next to one and see they are bigger. I guess the 1500 didn't come with chrome. So I either wait for my color to become available, buy the white ones and then paint them, or have them chromed. 1st estimate to have them chromes was $150 a piece for standard chroming, $350 for show quality chroming? hmmmmmmm
