I fly a flag on my house every day and have been doing it for pretty much my entire adult life.  I'm proud to say that my 8 year old son, J.T., knows alot of the signifigant info on our flag.  The flag is really something special to me, and always has been.  I think it's comes from what my dad told me about the flag when I was little and what it all means.  I find that I enjoy alot of things like that with my son, just like my dad did.

Great factoid sites Tom.  We had to be able to quote 10 facts about the flag prior to being in the color guard in scouts years ago, so those were great refresher sites -

Having been a proud American all my life, and learning patriotism as a Scout, I am embarrassed to say that I don't even own a flag...and now I can't find one because of the outpouring of patriotism, which is a good thing.  As soon as I can find one, a nice one, I will begin again to show my patriotism.

Tom, glad that you have kept the faith through the good times and the bad.

Jeff
