Main Drive Belt

While i am changing my fluids on my truck i thought I would change my main drive belt along with my AC compressor belt, how do i know which belt to get for my main drive (serpentine belt) i read it depends on the alternator u have weather it is 105 amp or 145 amp? is there a way of telling in the VIN?

2silverados! thats what i'm talkin bout, i love the short bed!!!!! i wish i could posyt a pick of mine but it tells no every time ! i have an 06 z71 short bed reg cab! thank you for the info, love the truck!!!!!!
