Gear Change Void Drivetrain Warranty?

I have a 07 NBS 2wd Silverado with the 4.8/3.23 that I put 32-inch wheels/tires on (Z71 take-offs)... not a good combo I've discovered. It still has about 14 months and 8,000 miles left on the drivetrain warranty (I bought it a month ago with about 91,500 miles showing), so I really don't want to do anything to void the warranty in case something needs attention in the next 8,000 miles. I only put about 4,000 miles a year on my trucks (I home office), so it will probably expire by time, not miles. I know you have to correct for the new gears with a tune that I wouldn't have the option to remove before taking it in for dealer service. Seems like a catch-22. With these tall gears and tall tires the tranny is under more stress, which seems to me would be a bigger threat to drivetrain integrity than a hand-held tune to correct for gears/tires. Any experience/suggestions?

If the change is directly related to what goes wrong then yes it could be voided.
