Need your comments on a possible

Today i received and email from a startup truck acc. company. Right now, they will remane unnamed by their request. Sorry. :(They wanted us to ask you guys about a possible future product they would like to sell.

How many of you guys/gals would by a conversion kit that would turn your tailights from regular bulbs, to LED bulbs. therefore giving your truck an upscale look, and also adding the benifit that you would never have to change your tail lights again.

What are your guys/gals thoughts on this? Would you buy it?

What about a lighed piece that would replace the bowtie or GMC letters(that would glow a color)?

The tail light bulbs sound interesting and I might consider them, but I don't think I would get the glowing Bowtie or GMC.

I'd definitely look into it.

Anything like that is worth a shot and it's not a very big risk.

I think it would keep the stock light assemb, and just replace the bulb.

stock replacement sure. depending on cost. also want to convert my blinkers and lights on my sport hauler too.. but the cost factor for all that would be more then a jobless guy like me could afford.

also any plans for 3rd brake light replacements?

To a guy like me that would be a hard sell. I'm just not big into that kind of stuff. I'm more into adding things onto trucks that enable it to work better rather than look better.

Would these lights be considered street legal? If so, how do they plan on accomplishing this? I've done LED conversions and none have been street legal. These were for trucks that were 100% custom. The only way for them to be street legal is if they are used with reflectors, i'd like to see them first!

I agree with Tom. I'd go for the bulbs, but probably not with the bow tie/GMC. I'm planning on getting a billet bow tie anyway, so that would take me out of the running.

Nothing glowing, thanks. Bulbs are a dime a dozen, I wouldn't seek any out in particular.

Wow! you mean theres a bulb under that plastic cover??? Thats so cool.!!! lol....I keep learning....as for the glowing bowtie......I just cant see Toms truck with a glowing red bowtie....maybe at christmas....
