Baer Big Brake Kit - 14" Alumisport

Now I finally have all my brake parts to do the Baer Big Brake Kit to my rig. I will be installing these as soon as I get a chance in the next week or so. I had another thread started for this but I figured I would title this one better Here are pics of the calipers and the rotors:

They look pretty dang cool! How much did all the parts cost? Do you plan on installing yourself?

How much did it run you? I'm thinking into doing this to my truck too.

I contacted PBR directly and got the calipers for $130 each, ($260 total). They come powdercoated red like you see in the pic. The rotors are the 2-piece alternates to the ones you get with the true kit. My kit number for my truck is kit 4301038. I think it may work on some of the GMT-900 trucks also. Baer sold me the rotors for $100 over the cost of the one piece rotors were out of stock, so I got all the parts for ~$800 shipped. This is a massive discount over the kit prices.

 

Total: ($200 each for one piece rotors x 2 + $100 extra for 2-piece rotors = $500) + ($260) + Shipping = ~$800.

 

I will install this myself. I also found a business that will powder coat rear drums, brand new ones. I ordered mine gloss black and will post pics of them in another thread when i get some time soon.

Hey all. got some bad news. I am selling this kit with the Hawk HPS pads for the kit. I had to get an emergency MRI on my brain last week that set me back unexpectedly. Sorry to hear the bad news, I hope everything is alright. I was looking forward to the install. Hopefully someone will be willing to buy it and do the install so you'll have a guide to follow.
