i need a new front sway bar as the one i have now is bent. while searching the site i found that some people have used Addco. i also know that hellwig makes one for my vehicle. is either of these two better than the other or is there another brand that is better? thanks.

Really pleased with the Hellwig and Hotchkis ones. Never tried an Addco. I know Hellwig and Hotchkis will really tighten up the roll compared to OEM.

I have sold several of the hellwig's.... I have never heard a bad thing out of any of them.... And I have thought about buying some and putting on my truck just to see if it can tighten up my truck some more....

I'm curious about that. Even if the Hellwig is the same diameter as the OEM? Could it be due to the OEM's being "hollow" (as I remember reading in another thread)?

That said, I've a Hellwig on the rear and am quite satisfied.

Yes, the OEM is hollow, the Hellwig is solid. I did front/rear on my '00 Z71. That thing handled like on rails. We also had an Acura CL (high end Honda Accord), and the truck could out manouver the car in corners. It was impressive.

not sure how it happened but about a years ago i noticed that the driver side sway bar end link was missing. don't know how long it was gone or how it came off since there is supposed to be thread locker on it. i bought a new end link and when i went to put in on i noticed that the bar was bent. i have been putting off replacing it but it is starting to tear up the bushing on the end link so i decided i had put it off long enough. i hoping it will also improve my ride a little bit especially since the aftermarket sway bars are supposed to be alot better than OEM.
